Installation Services for your Satellite Internet
Installation of your HughesNet satellite Internet system is simple. We use a network of professional, certified installers to ensure your installation process is successful. HughesNet has invested considerably in installer training and auditing, which means you’re more likely to have a smooth, easy installation, and less likely to wait more than a few days after ordering for your system to be up and running.
Standard installation is included for all customers, and your installer will provide all equipment needed to mount and install you HughesNet system.
Installation Process
- Schedule installation over the phone with a satellite Internet expert
- Certified installer arrives at service location on scheduled installation day
- Installer mounts the HughesNet satellite Internet dish to an approved structure at least five feet off the ground, but not more than one story high
- Cable jack is installed in the room where the HughesNet satellite Internet service will be used, appropriate cables are routed from the jack to the satellite dish, and your computer is connected to the satellite modem
- Installer then grounds your HughesNet system with the required hardware
- Installer verifies receipt of the HughesNet satellite signal and commissions your account
Standard installation does NOT include custom or complex installations, particularly working with moldings or cosmetic hardware to hide cables, mounting on non-penetrating roofs, poles or chimneys, or removal and repair of previously mounted equipment. If you would like your installer to perform custom work, please inquire prior to your scheduled installation. An additional fee will apply.
